Martial arts for kids 3 to 15

    Kids today live on screens.

They're less active, less confident, and less prepared for the real world than any generation before them.

If your child struggles with focus, shyness, or standing up for themselves, you're not alone.

    Want to do something active?

But most options feel boring, and there's no one to hold you accountable.

Something is missing, and another monthly membership you never use won't fix it.

What is Hybrid Martial Arts?

Four styles taught as one. Trained on their own, each one leaves a gap. Trained together, they cover everything.

Discipline

Kickboxing

Punches and kicks, taught as a sport.

You learn how to punch and kick. Move in and out of range. Then put it all together.

You also learn how to block and avoid strikes.

That means you build fitness while learning to defend yourself on your feet.

Discipline

Taekwondo

Traditional martial arts, with a focus on kicking.

You learn punches, blocks and kicks. Practise each move with balance and control.

You then link those movements together.

That means you learn to move with control and use your skills with confidence.

Discipline

Krav Maga

A martial art focused on self-defence.

You learn how to respond to strikes and grabs. Create space. Then get away.

You also practise spotting danger and avoiding a fight.

That means you have more options for keeping yourself safe.

Discipline

Grappling

A martial art focused on close contact and ground fighting.

You learn how to take someone down. Control a position. Then escape or apply a hold.

You also learn how to protect yourself on the ground and get back to your feet.

That means you have a way to respond when a fight gets too close for punches and kicks.

Kids

  • An instructor teaching a small group, the studio bright behind them

    Homework without the fight

Focus built on the mat follows them home.

Parents often see better listening, longer attention and fewer reminders.

  • Two girls on the mat during a drill, one smiling across at her partner

    Friends from day one

Your child trains with students who cheer each other on.

Many close friendships start here, so they feel part of the group.

  • A girl in an orange belt holding a guard, focused on her partner

    Confidence beyond the mat

They learn to look people in the eye, speak up and stand up for themselves.

That confidence stays with them after each session.

Adults

  • An adult in boxing gloves holding his guard while the class works behind him

Keep up with your kids again

Build strength and stamina without staring at a treadmill.

Stairs feel easier, energy lasts longer and clothes fit better.

  • An adult student in gloves working a combination with a partner

    Walk home without worry

Each session teaches practical ways to protect yourself or your family.

These are tested techniques that work under pressure.

    Friends who notice you're gone

This is an academy where people know your name.

Training partners become friends and notice when you miss a session.

It looked and felt more professional, disciplined, friendly and the kids there looked so happy!

Common questions

Is this suitable for complete beginners?

Yes. Most students start with no martial arts experience at all.

Your first session covers the basics at a steady pace. An instructor will guide you and help you settle in.

What age groups do you cater for?

Children train in groups aged 3 to 4, 5 to 7 and 8 to 12. Teens and adults train together from age 13.

See our schedule for current session times.

What if I just want to try it once before committing?

That is why we offer a free trial session. You can meet the instructors and step onto the mats before you decide.

It is a simple way to see if the academy feels right for you or your child.

Is it safe? I don't want to get hurt.

Like any contact sport it carries some risk. We manage it with close instruction and a steady start.

Striking is drilled on pads long before it is drilled at pace with a partner, and contact is matched to age and size.

Walking in the first time is the hard part. Tell us you are coming, and we'll handle the rest.
